Compare the Compact SUV Liftgate Curtain and Large Liftgate Privacy Curtain from Napier Outdoors. Find out which size fits your vehicle and needs for quick privacy at the beach, ball games, or backyard.
Quick answer
Choose the Compact SUV Liftgate Curtain for mid-size SUVs like the Ford Bronco Sport, or the Large Liftgate Privacy Curtain for full-size SUVs like the Ford Expedition or Chevrolet Tahoe. Both set up in under five minutes and offer 360-degree privacy.
Why size matters for your tailgate privacy
Both Napier Liftgate Curtains turn your SUV's open liftgate into a 360-degree changing room. The main difference is the vehicle fit. The Compact version is tailored for mid-size SUVs (e.g., Ford Bronco Sport), while the Large version fits full-size SUVs (e.g., Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Tahoe). Choosing the wrong size means a loose or overly tight fit, reducing privacy and ease of setup.
The Compact model is also slightly more affordable at $65 compared to $66 for the Large. Both come with a convenient tote for storage and are designed for active lifestyles—beach trips, ball games, or backyard activities.
Tradeoffs to consider
- Vehicle compatibility: The Compact model fits mid-size SUVs like the Ford Bronco Sport; the Large fits full-size SUVs like the Ford Expedition or Chevrolet Tahoe. Measure your vehicle's liftgate opening if unsure. Check your SUV's model and liftgate dimensions before buying.
- Setup speed and storage: Both set up in under five minutes and pack into a convenient tote. No tools or permanent installation required.
- Price difference: The Compact SUV Liftgate Curtain costs $65, while the Large Liftgate Privacy Curtain costs $66—a $1 difference that likely won't drive your decision. Price is nearly identical; focus on fit.
